Carly appeared on the television show Celebrity Duets in 2006. She was the third contestant to be eliminated.

On February 4, 2008, she signed a recording contract with an indie label, MusicMind records. Her first single, "Temporary Life (Ordinary Girl)" was released on March 25, 2008 and her album relase date has been postponed.
